Sales Representative/Account Manager

Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Achieve monthly sales target.
  • Execute sales plan/strategy.
  • To arrange demonstrations, open days with different market segment.
  • To inform customers of new products and services.
  • To build client relationships.
  • Generate leads and cold calling.
  • Focus on opportunities and growth.
  • To identify new opportunities and grow/develop customers
  • Client visits.
  • Service new and existing clients.
  • Meet with potential new customers by growing, maintaining and leveraging network.
  • Track and record account activity and close deals to meet targets.
  • Quote and invoice customers accordingly.      
  • Take follow up of all calls/queries.
  • Goal and team oriented.
  • Great attitude.
  • Well organized and Time Management.
  • Report to the Sales Manager.
  • Would be required to work some Saturdays of the month.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills (Afrikaans & English)
  • Self-driven with strong sales mind.
  • Good people skills.
  • Well presented.
  • Ability to work in a team and individually.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Computer literacy:
  • 3-5 years sales experience in Welding equipment, consumables and accessories, PPE and Tools.
