External account manager
Responsibilities/Skills:
- Achieve monthly sales target
- Execute sales plan/strategy
- To arrange demonstrations, open days with different market segment
- To inform customers of new products and services
- To build client relationships and manage entertainment for clients
- Generate leads and cold calling
- Focus on opportunities and growth
- To identify new opportunities and grow/develop customers
- Client visits
- Service new and existing clients
- Meet with potential new customers by growing, maintaining and leveraging network.
- Track and record account activity and close deals to meet targets
- Quote and invoice customers accordingly
- Take follow up of all calls/queries
- Goal and team oriented
- Great attitude
- Well organized and Time Management
- Report to the Branch Manager
- Would be required to work some Saturdays of the month
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Excellent communication and telephone skills (Afrikaans & English)
- Self-driven with strong sales mind
- Good people skills
- Well presented
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Computer literacy:
- Microsoft Office
- Sage X3
- CRM (Advantageous)
- Any other programs as needed.
- 3-5 years sales experience (technical)
